Position Title: Employment Relations

Objective: Develop, direct, cause and manage a professional and disciplined process for Candidate and Member employment retention.
Accountability: Employment Relations position reports directly to the Director of Care Continuum and Employment.
Position Function & Principal Activities:

Execute on-site visits to Candidates/Members working with employer partners as needed.

Facilitate LLC Vendor Employment and Retention Program (E & R program) referrals to the Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Community Rehabilitation Programs (CRP); maintain timely referrals and monitor process as Candidates move through the 90-day E & R program.

Manage applications to the CRP; facilitate necessary information gathering to expedite program timeline.

Monitor and track employer relationships to track successful employment placements, advancements and retention achieved for the long term.

Implement and maintain the statistical tracking system to document employment history, tenure, successes, and failures of Candidates.

Partner and support the Job Placement Coordinator with the execution of the on-site mock interviewing events with employer partners for our Candidates and Members.

Engage employer partners to volunteer in the “Work Week” portion of the Education Continuum.

Review and leverage the career assessment profiles with Candidates and their Candidate Support Coordinator.

Monitor and schedule prerequisite room for on-site staffing agency appointments as needed.

Advocate employee and volunteer ambassadorship of LLC with employer partners.

Other duties as assigned by the President and Managing Director.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess most of the following qualities:

Preferred education of master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminology, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred Certified Peer Support Specialist or in process of certification completion if applicable.

Strong communication skills, experience working with vulnerable populations including individuals living in poverty, ability to project a caring demeanor, motivate individuals and maintain high expectations for accountability.

Demonstrated exceptional organizational skills and detailed records management.
-
3-5 years of experience working with “at-risk” populations.
-
3-5 years of experience in program coordination.
-

Position Title: Program Coordinator/Peer Support Specialist

Accountability: Program Coordinator/Peer Support reports to Director of Care Continuum and Job Placement.
Position Function & Principal Activities: The Program Coordinator is responsible for the daily oversight related to the program journeys of our Candidates & Members.
Position Function & Principal Activities:
Program Implementation

Assist in the development and implementation of recovery social events and manage events in a Recovery Community Center calendar of events.

Facilitate various recovery support groups as needed.
-
Lead, plan and execute Saturday Recovery Community Center programming.

Provide peer support services to LLC Candidates and Members.
-
Assist and lend support to the Director of Care Continuum in accessing barrier removal on a case-by-case basis as needed.
-
Accompany on-site QRT officer when needed.
-
Aid in the tracking process of Care offerings delivered to Candidates and Members.
-
Make Care calls on a weekly basis.
-
Assist with implementation of the LLC Rewards Incentive Program.
-
Conduct weekly and monthly Care Closet review to ensure ample product for Candidates.
-
Participate in Candidate Conferences, documenting Candidate progress in Case Conference doc.
-
Attend MRRT meetings for Life Learning Center with assigned Director, documenting MRRT recommendation in Case Conference doc.

Assist during Orientation and execute Care Connect.
-
Serve as backup facilitator in the event the volunteer faculty is absent as well as serve as a resource for new volunteer faculty.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Public speaking and strong communication skills, experience working with vulnerable populations including individuals living in poverty, ability to project a caring demeanor, motivate individuals and maintain high expectations for accountability.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

5-10 years of experience with program coordination.
