Position Title: Enrollment Specialist

Accountability: Enrollment Specialist reports directly to the Director of Enrollment.
Position Function & Principal Activities: Conduct LLC overview sessions in rural counties and local detention centers. Enroll eligible candidates for the Foundations for a Better Life program. Facilitate LLC curriculum as directed.
Enrollment Activities

Partner with enrollment team members to conduct LLC overview sessions in rural counties and local detention centers.
-
Identify, interview, screen and select Applicants based on their level of commitment to the program, ability to learn and achieve, and willingness to engage in a continuum for Transformational Permanent Change.
-
Conduct Enrollment interviews with potential Candidates, including background checks and drug screens.
-
Monitor and review all candidate background checks.
-
Complete the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) with all eligible applicants and appropriate code as Lift Up or KORE.
-
Monitor, track and retain the referral relationships to manage the number of referrals achieved per agency and submit to Data Coordinator.
-
Maintain comprehensive Candidate and Member enrollment documentation & records.
-
Record and maintain candidate contact in Candidate files in compliance with HIPPA standards.
-
Work closely with Pretrial and Parole & Probation offices.
-
Transport candidates requiring Detox per LLC vehicle policy guidelines.
-
Maintain relationships with local Sober Living houses.
-
Serve as a backup facilitator as needed.

Position Title: Program Peer Support Specialist

Mission: Deliver a holistic, integrated continuum of learning and care to equip our most at-risk citizens reach their highest potential.
Accountability: Program Peer Support Specialist will report to the Director of Care Continuum & Employment.
Position Function & Principal Activities: The Program Peer Support Specialist is responsible for the daily coordination and oversight related to Candidates & Members journeys through our program. Principal functions also include developing and implementing Saturday programming that supports the recovery community and their families.

Care Continuum

Assist in the development and implementation of recovery-friendly social events and manage events in a Recovery Community Center calendar.

Facilitate various recovery support groups as needed.

Take a leadership role of Saturday Recovery Community Center programming.
-
Provide peer support services to LLC Candidates and Members.
-
Assist and lend support to the Director of Care Continuum in accessing barrier removal on a case-by-case basis as needed.
-
Aid in the tracking process of Candidates and Members.
-
Make Care calls on a weekly basis.
-
Other duties as assigned.
Education Continuum
-
Contribute to development of protocols for Education and Care Continuums.

Assist and lend support to the Director of Education Continuum as requested.

Other duties as assigned.

Observe and assist with applicant interview process as requested by Director of Enrollment.

Assist with Pre-req programming as needed.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess most of the following qualities:
-
Preferred education of master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
-
Must be able to work LLC Saturday hours of operation.
-
Be a Certified Peer Support Specialist or in process of certification completion.
-
Strong communication skills, experience working with vulnerable populations including individuals living in poverty, ability to project a caring demeanor, motivate individuals and maintain high expectations for accountability.
-
3-5 years’ experience working with “at-risk” populations.
-
3-5 years’ experience in program coordination.
-
