ABOUT OUR HONOREE

Wilbert L. Ziegler, a Kenton County native, is a practicing attorney, Chairman of the Board of the law firm of Ziegler & Schneider, P.S.C., and President/CEO of The R.C. Durr Foundation.
While working as a caddy, farmhand, clerk, paperboy, busboy, waiter, bus driver, brewery worker, bartender, and insurance investigator, he graduated from Thomas More College, the University of Cincinnati College of Law, and the University of Michigan Law School and then joined his current law firm in 1958.

The recipient of many awards for outstanding service from colleges and other organizations, he
served as a founding Member and President of the first Board of NorthKey, and a Board Member
of New Perceptions and BAWAC, Inc. In addition, he served as President and Board Member of
Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. He also was a Member of the Board of Trustees
of the University of Cincinnati Foundation, Northern Kentucky Independent District Health
Department, and the Board of Visitors of the University of Cincinnati Law School. He currently serves as a Member of the Thomas More University Board of Trustees.
Intensely interested in education, he and his deceased wife, Helen, have established endowed scholarships at Thomas More University, Bishop Brossart High School, and the University of Cincinnati Law School. Through the Durr Foundation, he has promoted numerous educational incentives to benefit the twelve-county Northern Kentucky region. He and his late wife, Helen, have three sons. He and his wife, Ellen Hackman Ziegler, reside in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.

Evan Millward is an anchor at WCPO 9 News, where he’s covered the Greater Cincinnati area since 2014. Highlights include the Bengals Super Bowl appearance, several Presidential appearances and campaigns, and the 2015 MLB All-Star Game. He was recently awarded Best Anchor in Ohio by the Society of Professional Journalists. When not in the newsroom, Evan is a runner and volleyball player - so he can try all the new restaurants and bars our area has to offer.
